Nardwuar vs. Odd Future

Pusha T - Fear of God

Pusha dropped Fear of God few days ago, was not as solid as expected. His flow is
consistent as always throughout the mixtape, just not too much of a fan of the beat
                         selection. Enjoy & Absorb.

Lykke Li - I Know Places

Thom York Recording with MF Doom

I have always been a hip-hop enthusiast, it will always be my root and core, but I also
spend a lot of time towards other forms of music. With that being said, Radiohead
has been one of my favorite groups in the ranks of Wu-Tang and The Roots, so to see
Thom Yorke and Metal Fingers diffusing (again) is some pretty interesting shit.
Hopefully they have something serious in store, wonder how Thom would look
like with a Doom mask on.

Pusha-T - Cook It Down

Pusha-T from the Clipses throws down a remix to Bun B's Put It Down, does an
                         ill job. Absorb

Dela - What U Wanna (feat. Blu)

Blu & Dela are dominating names in undergound hip-hip music today, both
developing an impact on music. Blu throws down a solid flow with Dela's soulful
production. Look out for Dela's new album soon. Absorb

Big K.R.I.T - Dreamin'

I won't lie, I was late to acknowledge K.R.I.T. and what he brings to the table. Being
from the south its much tougher to be critically accepted in Hip-Hop, especially after
artists such as Outkast, UGK and Scarface to name a few. With that being said, K.R.I.T
is a dosage of something fresh & authentic that is needed today, carrying his Mississippi                          roots and producing everything himself, K.R.I.T is here to make a mark.

Return of 4Eva drops March 22nd. Absorb.

"I told them call me KRIT, they told me to change my name
Don't be alarmed if you don't make it that's just - part of the game
Besides I don't rap about dope, nor do I sell it
Guess the story of a country boy aint compelling"

Writtenhouse - While You Were Sleeping [Album]

Writtenhouse - Sticky

I always pay closer attention to underground artists in any genre, they provide a level of
enjoyment and quality that is unparalleled by any 6 figured/mainstream/Waka-LexLuger-
drum-pattern will ever provide. With that being said, Writtenhouse hails out of hip-hop                          rich Philadelphia, they are known to provide an energetic live show rooted from a genuine
friendship based on making music. Lead emcee Charlie K takes you on a 90's boom-bap
journey of non-stop lyricism. Absorb & Enjoy

Lupe Fiasco - All Black Everything

LASERS leaked and I am sure most of you all already absorbed that, and after all
that wait was it worth it?

According to the Lupe [telling the Chicago Times] he was told to dumb it down..

"I was specifically told" -- Fiasco chuckled -- "'Don't rap too
deep on this record.'" He laughed some more. "That was a
specific order from the top. 'You're rapping too fast or too slow,
                                                  or it's too complex.

Truthfully, Its not the same listening to Lupe without trying to keep up with his
witty paradigm of words, but Lupe still manages to stick to his core and delivers.

Lykke Li - I Follow Rivers

Lykke Li released her second album a few days ago titled Wounded Rhymes
She has definitely grown in the last 3 years, her voice screams not giving a fuck,
and bleeds throughout Wounded Rhymes darker theme. Absorb it.

Lil Wayne - 6 Foot 7 [Video]

Its bad enough Inception got snubbed in the Oscar's worse then DeRozen in the
dunk competition (Nothing against Kings speech, wicked movie, a little against Blake tho),
but its even worse when the first thing Dwayne does when he gets out of jail is watch
the movie and tells Hype to put him in DiCaprio's shoes...enjoy.

Reks - Mr.Nobody / Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme [Mixtape]

Reks recently dropped Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme, Mr. Nobody is a slightly
deeper track but never the less its a smooth listen, worth absorbing. Its good to see
artists like Reks keeping up with the music. Reks originally dropped Grey Hairs in 08'
coming with a diligent flow which and a realistic subject matter, if you have never
heard of him throw him on your Ipod and let it play out.

Intelligent People Use More Drugs

Don't let the picture throw you off, its in no way reference soldiers and
their level of intelligence. I just thought it was a pretty cool picture...

Nonetheless, according to a study by Satoshi Kanazawa, he shows an
association between general childhood intelligence and adult
consumption of psychoactive drugs. I know you potheads are probably
rolling a spliff right now feeling proud, Kanazawa also mentions that
more intelligent people are more likely to make stupid decisions
(earlier study), so save half of the spliff and open a book, I know I did.

Raekwon - Silver Rings (Feat Ghostface Killah)

Raekwon the Chef still cookin'. His new album Shaolin Vs. Wu-Tang comes
with a lot of classic wu feel and strong features, good to see Raek banging
out strong from Cuban Linx II, even when hes Rza-less.
